Yesterday was the first clear, sunny day in Fairbanks in what seemed like a very long time. It was nice eating a milkshake with my parents on the deck again lol. I am home! It's always kinda depressing and surreal coming home after a fun vacation. We did see Denali though, yay! As we were driving by I Googled Ruth Glacier (why not lol. Yesterday the Northern Lights were supposed to be super active..as it got dark around the Northern Hemisphere, they were seen in Norway, Wisconsin, Utah, etc. It had been cloudy all day here, but amazingly, when the sun went down the clouds cleared off! On Friday, we did go to see the ice sculptures..they're pretty cool, but standing around in the cold takes the fun out of it lol. Today mom and I drove to Denali today, because why not. :P We found some geocaches, went shopping, had yummy pizza, and drove to the Savage River hiking trail. We saw two caribou, one of which had a huge rack! Both of them crossed the road right in front of our car, which was super cool! Earlier mom and I left her house to go to the store and stuff, but she had to go back because she forgot her phone..mom was about to get out when I saw two moose run from the back of the house right in front of the car!
